My client, a leading systematic hedge fund, is seeking an experienced cloud engineer (AWS) to join their infrastructure team in London.

This is a new position to help lead the expansion of their cloud environment. This will involved contribution to the development of their quantitative research platform, data ingestion pipelines and post-trade systems.

The successful individual will have previous experience with AWS and be an expert in Kubernetes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing a scalable cloud infrastructure to support various business divisions.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in AWS and Kubernetes.
Strong Terraform & Infrastructure as code knowledge.
Experience with CNCF technologies such as Argo CD, Kyverno and Backstage.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CNCF certificate or similar
Programming knowledge (Go, Python etc)
Kubernetes operators
Experience of automation through GitHub Actions or similar
