We’re seeking an experienced Head of UK Retail IT to join a leading energy supplier on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a strategic leadership position reporting directly to the VP of IT, responsible for driving the technology strategy, project delivery, and application support across the UK retail IT landscape.

What You’ll Do

Lead IT strategy, technology delivery, and Salesforce/CRM support for the UK retail business.
Act as the key technology partner to Sales and Operations leadership.
Manage and develop a team of IT professionals.
Oversee IT demand, budgeting, forecasting, and a portfolio of technology change.
Ensure successful delivery of projects across customer operations, contract management, industry processes, and billing.
Maintain high-quality application support and vendor management.
Drive alignment with global architecture, PMO, and other IT functions.

What We’re Looking For

Strong IT leadership experience within energy retail or utilities.
Proven background in Salesforce/CRM, customer operations systems, and regulatory/billing programmes.
Experience shaping IT strategy and delivering complex projects in multi-business unit environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience leading senior teams and working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Solid understanding of agile delivery, architecture, and IT service management.
