**Job Title:** Programme Manager – Regulatory Investment Banking
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end program delivery within the UK Transformation team, managing multiple interdependent projects to meet scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets. Ensure compliance with regulatory change impacts on banking operations and maintain robust governance and stakeholder engagement throughout the program lifecycle.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver large, complex strategic programs in a corporate or institutional banking environment.
- Exhibit strong project management acumen for non‑IT initiatives across business lines.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of regulatory change and its operational effect on Front‑to‑Ops.
- Communicate effectively with senior executives, stakeholders, and peer groups.
- Leverage consultancy experience to provide objective program insights.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Own program charter, defining scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Establish and enforce governance structures, including steering committees and reporting mechanisms.
- Identify, onboard, and manage key stakeholders and sponsors.
- Plan, schedule, and track program milestones, tasks, and deliverables.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and report program risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Oversee quality management, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage change management processes within program boundaries.
- Coordinate cross‑function teams and facilitate communication among all program participants.
**Required Skills:**
- Certified program/project management (e.g., PgMP, PMP, Prince2) or equivalent experience.
- Proven delivery of large, multi‑project programs in investment banking or similar financial services.
- Strong governance, risk, issue, and quality management skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks affecting banking operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communications.
- Ability to lead change initiatives and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Comfortable working in a consultancy or advisory capacity.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (minimum).
- Advanced project/program management certification (PgMP, PMP, Prince2, etc.) highly preferred.
