Endur SME Business Analyst | Configuration / v25 | £1,200/Day Inside IR35 | 3 days office, LDN

Commodities & Energy Trading House are going through a technology landscape transformation. As such, a big project is removing their Valuations and PnL portfolio out of their current ETRM and transferring the data to the latest versions of Endur / OpenLink ETRM (v25).

This Endur Business Analyst role will be focussed on improving and changing the Front Office Power, Gas & Emissions Trading capabilities. You will work with users from across the business and cover functionality across the end-to-end trade lifecycle for physical OTC Power, Gas & Emissions.

As such, Business knowledge is highly advantageous for this role around OTC exchanges, reporting such as REMIT, concepts like baseload, peak and off peak, intraday and day ahead trading, PPAs, the Physical Power Trade Lifecycle, M2M and P&L, VAR, Power Grids etc.

As an Endur SME Business Analyst, you will be required to perform extensive hands-on work in the current ETRM, understanding the Physical Commodities lifecycle and the data needed from both front and middle office, in order to develop extensive system and app knowledge of the different trades, as well as hands on technical knowledge of data mapping and data flows. As a Endur Business Analyst, you will be required to be proactive in engaging with users and working with them in a collaborative and open manner. You must take ownership of creating structured documentation (e.g. backlogs of user stories) and be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individual.

Day rates: Up to £1,200/Day INside IR35

Tenure: 6 months rolling

Location of work: Hybrid. 3 days from the office, LDN

Expertise: Endur / OpenLink Technical hands on experience, data flows and data mapping, v25. Power Physical Trading Lifecycle, PPA, Day ahead, Intraday, REMIT Reporting, etc

Duties of the Endur SME Business Analyst:

Working with the users to identify their needs
Creating worked examples, mock-ups, test cases or similar to help users understand their requirements and potential solution options
Performing hands-on system or data analysis to identify changes (e.g. to usage, to configuration or to class-event)
Able to work in both an Agile and Waterfall methodology
Assessment, Documentation, Prioritisation, Workshops etc

Experience needed for the Endur SME Business Analyst:

10 years’ experience as an Endur Business Analyst.
Physical commodities trading experience – understanding of the physical trading lifecycle
Front / middle office knowledge; pricing and valuation (P&L, risk exposure, etc.)
Agile AND Waterfall experience
