Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Analyst located in Toronto, ON. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business operations, gathering and documenting business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to enhance processes. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define business goals, facilitating communication between teams, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements
Conduct data analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions
Support project teams throughout the project lifecycle (planning, execution, testing, and implementation)
Perform gap analysis and risk assessments
Ensure solutions meet business objectives and deliver measurable value
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and system validation

Qualifications

Proven Analytical Skills for evaluating data, identifying trends, and solving complex problems
Experience in Business Analysis, including gathering and documenting requirements
Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and convey complex ideas clearly
Knowledge of Business Processes and the ability to identify areas for optimization
Expertise in defining and managing Business Requirements
Proficiency with relevant tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, data visualization software, and project management tools
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience in a similar role within a technology or consulting environment is an asset
