As a User Experience Researcher at Simplii Financial, you will be instrumental in shaping best-in-class, customer-facing digital experiences. You will leverage a variety of user research techniques and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive product improvements. Your work will help set the standard for usability, accessibility, and innovation, ensuring every interaction with our products delivers exceptional value to our customers.

Data Analysis, Interpretation and Presentation: You'll help analyze qualitative interview data using coding and quantitative survey results using statistical methods to surface recommendations. You will help in the planning, execution, analysis and presentation of studies to various stakeholders.
Empathy building: You'll interpret research findings and explain them in a way that's easy to understand to help build empathy.
Administration and teamwork: You'll help maintain a repository of research to help build a body of knowledge to assist in the development of product strategy.

Who You Are

You have a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Cognitive Science, UX Design, Interaction Design, Anthropology, or a related field.
Demonstrate at least 3-5 year of relevant experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including survey design and analysis, and proficiency in Excel and surveying tools; familiarity with UX platforms such as Figma, Maze, User Interviews, or Survey Monkey is an asset.
Exhibit strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills, with a collaborative approach to finding innovative solutions, effectively articulating research findings, and continuously seeking process improvements to optimize standards and outcomes.
You possess creativity: You are curious and enjoy working in a team to plan and envision a possible new product or service and to assess the product strategy and customer experience merits of that concept
You give attention to detail with an ability to summarize findings and identify trends
You show strong critical thinking, organizational and problem-solving skills
Values matter to you: You bring your real self to work, and you live our values – trust, teamwork and accountability
