**Job Title** UX Researcher **Role Summary** Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to inform Simplii Financial’s product strategy and improve the usability, accessibility, and overall quality of digital banking experiences. **Expactations** - Execute and assist with generative, evaluative, and causal studies using in‑person interviews, surveys, usability tests, card sorting, and analytics. - Analyze data, code qualitative insights, and apply statistical methods to survey results. - Present findings and actionable recommendations to cross‑functional teams, translating insights into empathy‑driven design decisions. - Maintain a centralized repository of research artifacts, contributing to a growing knowledge base that supports product strategy. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, plan, and conduct user research studies (interviews, usability tests, surveys, card sorting). - Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and data analysts to align research objectives with business goals. - Analyze interview transcripts, code themes, and synthesize findings; apply statistical analysis to survey data. - Visualize and communicate results through decks, presentations, and written summaries tailored to stakeholders. - Manage research repositories, documentation, and knowledge assets for ongoing accessibility. **Required Skills** - 3–5 years of experience in UX research, with proven expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods. - Strong analytical skills: coding interviews, statistical analysis, and data visualization. - Proficiency in Excel, survey platforms (SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, etc.), and UX tools (Figma, Maze, User Interviews). - Excellent communication and storytelling to convey insights to non‑research stakeholders. - Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of synthesizing complex data into clear, prioritized recommendations. - Collaborative mindset, problem‑solving ability, and commitment to continuous process improvement. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Cognitive Science, UX Design, Interaction Design, Anthropology, or a related field. - Valid user research certifications (e.g., UX Research Institute, Nielsen Norman Group) are a plus. ---
