Role: Senior Group Director for Marketing & Sales

As the Senior Group Director of Marketing & Sales, you will hold enterprise‑level responsibility for defining, leading, and delivering AVASK’s global marketing and sales strategy across all jurisdictions. This position is a critical Executive Leadership Team role, accountable for accelerating revenue growth, strengthening market positioning, and driving commercial performance across a diverse portfolio of international services.
This role requires a leader with a strong background in technology, demonstrable expertise in digital‑first environments, and proven senior‑level experience within the professional, consultancy, or technology‑enabled services industry. You will shape AVASK’s go‑to‑market framework, commercial pipeline, brand strategy, and customer value proposition, ensuring the organisation maintains a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving tech‑driven services landscape.
You will lead high‑performing marketing, sales, and business development teams, ensuring tight alignment between brand, demand generation, revenue performance, and client engagement. Senior Group Director for Marketing & Sales, the role
Strategic Marketing and Sales Leadership
Define and Execute Integrated Strategy: set the vision and lead the development and delivery of a cohesive group-wide marketing and sales strategy that supports AVASK’s growth objectives and positions the business as a market leader.
Own Brand and Market Positioning: shape, protect, and evolve AVASK’s corporate brand and value proposition, ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact across all marketing, sales, and customer touchpoints.
Drive Market Intelligence and Growth Opportunities: lead market research, customer insight, and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making, identifying emerging trends, target sectors, and new revenue opportunities.
Ensure ROI and Commercial Impact: oversee investment across marketing and sales activities, ensuring campaigns, lead generation, pipeline development, and conversion activity deliver clear, measurable returns.
Sales and Business Development Excellence
Lead Sales Performance and Pipeline Growth: provide strategic leadership across sales and business development functions, ensuring robust pipeline management, effective conversion, and achievement of revenue targets.
Influence Strategic Deals and Client Engagement: play an active role in high-value and strategically significant opportunities, including senior-level client engagement, proposal development, and commercial negotiations.
Build Organisational Sales Capability: identify capability gaps across sales and business development and partner with HR to implement training, tools, and frameworks that enhance performance and consistency.
Embed Continuous Improvement: establish, refine, and optimise marketing and sales processes, systems, and ways of working to drive efficiency, scalability, and sustainable growth.
Enterprise and Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Align Marketing, Sales, and Operations: foster strong collaboration across marketing, sales, operations, and service delivery to ensure seamless customer journeys and aligned execution.
Leverage Data and Insight: ensure marketing and sales strategies are insight-led, with performance data used to continuously optimise targeting, messaging, and channel effectiveness.
People and Leadership
Provide Visionary Leadership: set clear direction and priorities for marketing and sales teams, aligning objectives with wider organisational strategy.
Develop High-Performing Teams: attract, retain, and develop talent through coaching, performance management, and succession planning, building future leadership capability.

Senior Group Director for Marketing & Sales, the person
Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent senior‑level commercial experience.
Extensive senior leadership experience at Director or Group Director level, with responsibility for integrated marketing, sales, and commercial strategy.
Background in technology, with proven experience applying digital and tech‑enabled solutions to transform marketing, sales, or client‑facing services.
Essential experience within the services industry (e‑commerce, consultancy, professional services, technology‑enabled services), with strong understanding of service‑based commercial models and enterprise customer cycles.
