This position is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Oak Ridge, TN. The deadline to apply for this opportunity is February 25, 2026.

Role: The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the credit union’s Salesforce platform. Acting as the primary point of contact for Salesforce users, this role ensures the system runs smoothly, meets credit union requirements, and empowers teams to achieve their goals. The Salesforce Administrator works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, implement best practices, and provide training and support for ORNL Federal Credit Union.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Manages and configures Salesforce settings, objects, fields, workflows, process automation, page layouts, and record types.
Creates and maintains user accounts, roles, profiles, and permission sets to ensure proper access and security.
Oversees data imports, exports, cleansing, and deduplication to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Designs and maintains custom reports and dashboards to provide insights for decision-making.
Addresses user issues, resolves bugs, and provides ongoing support for the Salesforce platform.
Develops and optimizes automation solutions, such as Flows and Process Builder, to streamline business operations.
Trains end-users, creates training materials, and maintains system documentation to ensure effective platform use.
Stays updated on Salesforce releases and recommends new features or updates to enhance functionality.
Ensures compliance with data security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Experience: Three or more years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce platform solutions and complex flows is required. Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other modules is required. Familiarity with third-party Salesforce apps and integrations from the AppExchange is required. Basic understanding of development tools like Apex and Lightning is required. Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies is required.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) is required.

Other skills required:

Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, including workflows, validation rules, flows, and process automation.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and platform capabilities.
Experience with data management tools such as Data Loader or third-party ETL tools.
Ability to design and create custom reports and dashboards.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to train and support users.
