What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Product Discovery & User Empathy
Conduct continuous user research (interviews, surveys, feedback analysis, usability testing) to gain deep insights into the needs, pain points, and Jobs-to-be-Done of our internal users (Consultants, Business Partners) and external users (Clients, Candidates).
Develop a strong understanding of the Locum Tenens assignment lifecycle, including lead management, matching, presentation, booking, credentialing, compliance, travel, and post-assignment workflows.
Translate user insights and business requirements into clear problem statements and opportunities—including opportunities for automation and AI-assisted workflows across the staffing lifecycle.
Product Planning & Backlog Management
Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog for your stream-aligned team, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap set by the Director of Product Management.
Develop clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications.
Partner with the Director PM and Solution Architect on roadmap planning, making effective trade-off decisions based on value, effort, strategic importance, and platform constraints within Salesforce.
Feature Delivery & Execution (Stream-Aligned Team)
Work day-to-day as a core member of a stream-aligned team, collaborating closely with the Solution Architect, Developers, and QA to bring features to life.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, clarifying requirements and making real-time decisions to ensure sprint goals are met.
Ensure features effectively leverage our CRM platform, adhere to CRM governance best practices, and integrate seamlessly with connected systems (HubSpot, Sage Intacct, etc.).
Identify opportunities to enhance workflows through AI, automation, or data-driven recommendations, working with data and engineering partners as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
Engage with internal stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Marketing, Credentialing, Travel, Finance, and Support to gather input, manage expectations, and ensure buy-in for product initiatives.
Clearly communicate product plans, progress, and insights to your team, the Director of Product Management, and relevant stakeholders.
Help drive adoption and change management for new features within a high-volume, fast-paced staffing environment.
Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring
Partner with the Reporting & Analytics team to define success metrics and instrument features for effective tracking.
Analyze product usage data, user feedback, staffing KPIs, and operational throughput metrics (e.g., time-to-book, fill rate) to identify areas for improvement.
Evaluate the performance and effectiveness of AI-driven features and use insights to iterate and enhance value.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Experience
Typically 2–5+ years of experience in a Product Management role, with a track record of launching and iterating on successful products or features, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment directly with engineering teams.
Hands-on experience with product discovery techniques (user interviews, journey mapping, JTBD) and translating insights into actionable product plans.
Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce is a strong plus), with an understanding of configuration vs customization, platform limitations, and system integrations.
Experience optimizing workflow-heavy or operationally intensive products; staffing industry experience is a plus.
Exposure to AI- or automation-enhanced products (e.g., LLM-enabled workflows, recommendations, summarization, or predictive analytics) is highly desirable.
