What will your typical day look like?
The Manager, Privacy and Confidentiality will be responsible for implementing data by design across emerging technologies and business processes by:
Advancing privacy impact assessment / data risk assessment (“Assessment”) process enhancements, such as build / buy standards for IT
Completing Assessments on complex technologies Deloitte is building or buying, or business processes Deloitte is implementing
Managing junior team members completing lower-risk Assessments
Monitoring for impact / trends / challenges and reporting to leadership on the same
Projects / activities as needed by Deloitte’s Data Risk and Trust (DRT) team
The Manager will report to the Privacy and Confidentiality Lead within DRT. The Manager position is a 15-month contract.
About The Team
This role is situated in Deloitte’s internal DRT team, comprised of AI governance, data governance, information and records management, and privacy and confidentiality. DRT’s mandate is to establish a foundation of trust, accountability, discoverability and quality in Deloitte’s data, enabling consistent, secure, and responsible use of knowledge, while fueling innovation and data-driven insights. DRT is comprised of professionals with privacy, data, technology, and information backgrounds from across Canada and in Chile.

You are someone with these required skills:
Experience completing complex Assessments across emerging technologies and business processes
Proficiency with emerging technologies, including AI technologies, and technology concepts and associated data risks
Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Strong communicator to audiences of all levels
People and process management experience
It would be great for you to have some of these nice to have’s as well:
Privacy certification (e.g., CIPP/C) or equivalent
Experience with AI risk management, data governance, and / or information and records management is preferred
Experience in professional services is preferred
French or Spanish proficiency is assest (Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, English is required for this position)
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
