**Job Title**
Network Security Engineer (Palo Alto & Check Point)
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and manage enterprise‑grade network security solutions, focusing on firewall management, datacenter protection, and SASE architectures. Lead cybersecurity initiatives, incident response, and compliance activities while providing technical mentorship and collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a remote, global environment.
**Expectations**
- 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in network security and cybersecurity technologies.
- Proven expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (primary) and Check Point firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of IDS/IPS, encryption, SASE, and datacenter security.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership in incident response, security assessments, and compliance governance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and architect comprehensive network security solutions, producing detailed diagrams and risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain security architectures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Implement, configure, and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and SASE technologies across datacenter environments.
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans; remediate findings.
- Lead incident response efforts: investigation, containment, eradication, recovery, and post‑incident analysis.
- Ensure physical and logical security of datacenter infrastructure, coordinating with operations teams.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior security architects/engineers and drive knowledge sharing.
- Produce and maintain documentation, change‑control records, and compliance reports per CTO standards.
**Required Skills**
- Palo Alto Networks firewall configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
- Check Point firewall administration.
- SASE concepts and solution implementation.
- IDS/IPS deployment and management.
- Network segmentation, VPN, and encryption technologies.
- Vulnerability management tools and penetration testing methodologies.

**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA), CISSP, CISM, or similar are preferred.
