We’re currently looking for an AI Specialist to join our Transformation team.
Reporting to the Manager, Applications & AI, the AI Specialist drives AI adoption across the organization by implementing, configuring, and optimizing AI capabilities within our core platforms - Salesforce (Einstein AI, Agentforce, Data Cloud) and Microsoft 365 (Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform) - as well as supporting the effective use of general-purpose AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini. This is a hands-on role that involves working closely with business teams to identify high-impact use cases, translating requirements into technical solutions, and building and deploying those solutions. This exciting new role is essential to maximizing the value of UWCA's technology investments through strategic AI enablement.

What you will do
Microsoft Copilot & Enterprise AI
Support the organization-wide rollout and optimization of Microsoft Copilot, including Copilot Studio development for custom applications and department-specific solutions
Build RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) applications using Copilot Studio to enable secure document search and analysis within the Microsoft 365 environment
Develop Power Platform automation solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps) enhanced with AI capabilities
Advise teams on effective use of general-purpose AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) for content creation, research, analysis, and productivity enhancement
Create guidelines and best practices for prompt engineering and AI-assisted workflows across different platforms
Salesforce AI Implementation
Implement and configure Salesforce Einstein AI features across Nonprofit Cloud, including Einstein Prediction Builder, Einstein Discovery, and Einstein Copilot
Design, develop, and deploy Agentforce solutions to automate donor inquiries, program information requests, and routine stakeholder interactions
Optimize Data Cloud configurations to enable AI-powered insights, unified constituent profiles, and predictive analytics
Implement Marketing Cloud AI features including Einstein Engagement Scoring, Send Time Optimization, and Content Selection
Develop AI-powered automation for fundraising operations including prospect research summaries, proposal generation assistance, and donor stewardship recommendations
Governance & Use Case Discovery
Partner with business teams to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate requirements into technical solutions
Support with the development of AI training programs for staff at varying skill levels, from foundational literacy to platform-specific capabilities
Contribute to the AI governance framework, including policies for data classification, tool usage guidelines, and ethical AI principles
Monitor AI model performance, analyze outcomes, and continuously refine configurations to improve results
Document technical configurations, best practices, and lessons learned to build organizational knowledge
Support external consulting engagements by sharing expertise with funded agencies and partner nonprofits seeking to adopt AI
What you will bring
Experience:
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
2 to 4 years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise platforms with AI capabilities
Hands-on experience with at least one of: Salesforce AI features (Einstein, Agentforce) or Microsoft Copilot/Copilot Studio
Working knowledge of general-purpose AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and practical understanding of prompt engineering principles
Strong understanding of data management, integration patterns, and how AI models leverage organizational data
Demonstrated ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions
Experience developing training materials or delivering technology training to diverse audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce AI Associate, Salesforce AI Specialist, Administrator, or Agentforce Specialist
Microsoft certifications in Copilot, AI, or Power Platform (e.g., MS-900, AI-900, PL-900)
Other AI certifications or credentials demonstrating commitment to the field
Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud or Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)
Background in fundraising operations, donor manage
