Job Specifications

Chalk Hill Group are supporting a Service provider, based in Wells, in their search for a detail-oriented Finance Officer to join a busy finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

**This role can be based from home the majority of the time, with only two days per month required in the office**

Key Responsibilities:

Processing and allocating all incoming payments
Posting cash, benefits and debtor invoices to finance systems
Raising and issuing sales ledger invoices
Administering and reconciling Direct Debits
Preparing refunds and resolving unallocated or queried items
Monitoring debtor accounts and supporting effective debt recovery
Clearing suspense accounts and performing bank reconciliations

About You:

Experience in a finance or transaction processing environment
Confident using computerised accounts systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail
Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Professional communicator with a proactive, team-focused approach
Committed to confidentiality, data protection and continuous improvement
