Summary

The Business Systems Team is central to Wiz's operational excellence and growth, ensuring the reliability and evolution of key business systems that support critical functions across the organization. Composed of technical administrators, developers, and analysts, the team focuses on maintaining and optimizing these business systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Combining strategic oversight with tactical execution, the Business Systems Team directly contributes to the success of Wiz's core business objectives as the company scales.

As a Salesforce Administrator, you serve as a key technical resource focused on platform configuration, maintenance, and business support. Your role is defined by proficiency in declarative features (Flows, Process Builder, Standard Automation) and a commitment to maintaining the efficiency and security of the Salesforce ecosystem. You will be responsible for executing configuration changes to support evolving business needs in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, and for ensuring all administrative changes adhere to team governance workflows and data quality standards for stable system releases.

The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, acts proactively, and applies strong analytical skills to problem-solving. You must be adept at managing priorities and balancing a high volume of transactional support tasks with larger user-story-based project requirements. You are expected to implement standard and custom solutions using configuration best practices, contributing to the quality, accuracy, and stability of your deliverables.

Please note: We are currently looking for candidates located in Eastern Time.

What You’ll Do

Configuration & Automation: Configure and deploy standard business processes using Flow and other declarative tools. Prioritize configuration over custom code to maintain system health and scalability.
Workload Management: Successfully balance and prioritize a high volume of transactional day-to-day tasks with larger, user-story-based project requirements.
System Implementation & Delivery: Work with cross-functional teams to execute the build, testing, and deployment of system enhancements within the Salesforce platform.
Security & Governance: Maintain and assist with the configuration of the security and sharing models (Profiles, Permission Sets, Role Hierarchy), focusing on detail and strict adherence to access policies. Implement data quality and cleansing strategies following team guidelines.
System Maintenance & Support: Serve as a key resource for standard functionality. Perform regular platform health checks, assist in managing configuration-related technical debt, and optimize system performance for end-users.
Release Management: Participate in the release process by documenting configuration changes, assisting with metadata migration, and executing testing plans with meticulous attention to detail to ensure release stability. Utilize tools like change sets or Gearset.
User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide high-quality, customer-focused support for system issues, troubleshooting production problems related to configuration, data, or user access and identifying and implementing declarative fixes.

What You’ll Bring

3+ years of professional, hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator on a production platform.
Proficiency in implementing automations using Salesforce Flow.
Practical knowledge of security and sharing models (OWD, Sharing Settings, Profiles, Permission Sets) and their impact on data access.
Experience with Salesforce deployment processes, including change sets or deployment tools like Gearset.
Proven ability to contribute effectively in a fast-paced, constantly evolving technical environment.
Experience working within an agile delivery team (e.g., Kanban or Scrum) is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on data integrity, stability, and maintainability.
