Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead medium‑ and large‑scale initiatives that strengthen process efficiency, technology adoption, and service delivery across the organization. This role is highly collaborative and dynamic, requiring frequent interaction with business partners, technical teams, and external vendors. The ideal candidate excels at translating business needs into actionable project plans, guiding stakeholders through change, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. By driving clear communication, structured project execution, and continuous process improvement, the Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence within a fast‑paced, multi‑program environment.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of medium‑ to large‑scale projects and partner with business units to prioritize work requests using standardized project management methodologies
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to document current processes, research industry best practices, and recommend improved future‑state workflows
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key technical stakeholders, vendors, and cross‑functional partners
Define business requirements in partnership with SMEs, ensuring alignment with business needs and identified gaps
Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, organizing, monitoring progress, budget management, and project closure activities
Develop key project deliverables such as business process flows, requirements documentation, test plans, test scripts, and project schedules
Manage timelines and deliverables with stakeholders while providing regular status updates to internal and external teams
Assist in defining business metrics to monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement
Facilitate weekly or bi‑weekly project meetings, documenting detailed notes, decisions, and actionable follow‑ups
Identify, negotiate, and resolve project‑related conflicts, and proactively manage issues from identification through resolution
Analyze and prioritize risks; develop and maintain mitigation plans and processes to minimize project impact
Lead communication efforts across leadership, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure clarity and alignment
Provide work direction on assigned projects, including task scheduling, resource coordination, and quality review
Identify and resolve scope, schedule, budget, and quality challenges; conduct root‑cause analyses and contribute to Change Management activities
Conduct formal lessons‑learned sessions to capture insights, evaluate outcomes, and identify opportunities for process improvement or solution reuse
Support and uphold standards and methodologies related to project management, business process development, and change management
Perform additional duties as assigned based on departmental needs, evolving workloads, and supervisor direction
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification or demonstrated experience as an Information Technology Project Manager
Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall project environments
Familiarity with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Advanced project management, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration (with a focus on logistics or project management), or a related field
Four (4) years of progressive professional experience in roles requiring project management knowledge and skills
OR an equivalent combination of education (beyond high school), training, and experience totaling eight (8) years
