Marketing Manager - Pharmaceutical Industry
QUICK FACTS
Location: San Diego, CA 92130
Contract: 6-8 months, potential for extension
Pay: $63 - 88/hr
EXPERIENCE NEEDED
5 + years of marketing experience within pharmaceutical industry
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Business, or Life Sciences
Experience supporting consumer-facing or patient-focused brands strongly preferred
Familiarity with promotional review processes (e.g., MLR/PRC)
Experience using Veeva
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
Execute day-to-day consumer and HCP brand initiatives across key channels including digital, print, media, congress, and patient support programs.
Drive the creation, routing (through Veeva), and approval of promotional materials—ensuring alignment with internal, Legal, Regulatory, and Medical requirements—and manage submissions through the PRC process.
Own project timelines, deliverables, and workflows to keep workstreams moving and stakeholders aligned.
Support brand planning, campaign execution, and performance tracking, helping translate plans into on-time, compliant deliverables.
Build and maintain presentations, status updates, and project documentation for internal stakeholders and leadership.
Coordinate agency workstreams including briefing, feedback cycles, asset reviews, and final asset delivery/trafficking.
Assist with budget administration as needed, including tracking spend, processing invoices, and coordinating with vendors.
