Energy trading firm is looking to hire a Senior Front Office Business Analyst for a rolling 6-month contract.
Paying £700 - £750 per day (inside IR35).
The Senior Business Analyst will work directly with derivatives traders and a small, high-performing IT team to deliver analytical tooling and enhancements to a Front Office trading desk. This is a highly business-facing role, engaging with stakeholders up to C-suite level, defining requirements, brokering decisions and ensuring solutions are delivered at pace. The team releases multiple times per week, so this role would suit someone comfortable operating in a fast-moving, agile trading environment with evolving priorities.
Experience required:
Senior stakeholder engagement within Front Office trading
Strong SQL and good working knowledge of Python (or similar language)
Experience working with large and complex datasets
Comfortable working alongside quantitative/mathematical models
Strong understanding of the trade life cycle; ETRM exposure highly desirable
Experience supporting UAT and providing third-line support to trading desks
Proven delivery within Agile environments
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected team with strong Front Office relationships, where you will be expected to take ownership of requirements, manage stakeholders independently, and drive continuous improvement across trading technology.
Hybrid working - Central London, 2 days onsite.
