Join us at Barclays as a Software Engineer. To design, build, and maintain infrastructure platforms that support our applications and data systems across hardware, software, networks, and cloud environments. You'll ensure these systems are reliable, scalable, and secure by applying software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response to drive performance, availability, and resilience.

To be successful as a Software Engineer, you should have experience with:

Infrastructure automation to improve efficiency.
Python programming for developing tools, scripts, and automation workflows.
Oracle or Ansible for managing enterprise databases or automating configuration and deployment.

Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include

Using Jira to track and manage development work effectively.
CI/CD pipeline development experience using GitLab to streamline code integration and deployment.
