About the Team:

You will join Lambeth Council’s Public Realm & Safety Team at an exciting time as we work with partners to make our borough safer and stronger. As the Community Safety Support Analyst, you will be part of a vibrant, diverse organisation committed to equity, kindness, accountability, and ambition. About the Role:

Acting as a key point of analytical expertise, you will work closely with partners such as the Metropolitan Police, Probation Service, Health, voluntary sector organisations, and other Council services to produce crime trend reports, mapping, network analysis, and problem profiles that inform the borough’s strategic crime reduction programmes.

We are particularly interested in receiving applications from Analysts with:

Experience in crime and community safety analysis, including working with police data and multi-agency datasets.
Strong technical skills such as statistical analysis, GIS mapping, and network analysis.
Experience in maintaining an intelligence and research library to support evidence-based decision making and develop best practice.
Ability to produce clear analytical reports for diverse audiences.
Experience of working within strict guidelines and legislative frameworks (Data Protection, IPA, RIPA, CPIA).
Experience of developing positive working relationships with statutory and non-statutory partners to create analytical products that support the delivery of operational objectives and/or strategic outcomes.
