Your New Role
You’re a technically strong, detail-oriented engineer who thrives in high-availability environments. You understand the full stack of data center infrastructure: Compute, Network, Power, and Cooling, and you take pride in systems that run flawlessly because of your work. You communicate clearly, perform methodically under pressure, and collaborate effectively across IT, facilities, and vendor teams.
At your core, you’re a builder, a problem-solver, and a guardian of uptime, someone who values precision, safety, and accountability in every aspect of operations.
What You'll Need to Succeed
10+ years in data center operations or an Engineering/CS degree
Hands‑on with servers, networking, cabling, and Linux/scripting
Knowledge of power (PDUs, UPS, generators) and cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, containment)
Comfortable with network CLIs (Cisco/Arista/Juniper)
Experience with colocation sites, MOPs/EOPs, and ITSM/DCIM tools
Able to manage hardware lifecycle, inventory, and asset tracking
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in fast‑paced environments
Can lift 50–75 lbs and use material‑handling equipment
Supports on‑call rotation (60‑min SLA)
Experience mentoring and leading
Expertise in at least one: power, cooling, liquid cooling, networking, storage, security, or monitoring
Able to manage data center projects, outages, KPIs, and present to leadership
Preferred Certifications
CompTIA Server+/Network+/Linux+
ITIL Foundation
CCNA or JNCIA
