Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce high quality and engaging social media posts on all major platforms

• Collaborate with staff to identify key stories, athletes, and moments to feature

• Assist with in-game content for social media posts

• Creation of graphics in photoshop to support content, marketing needs, and merchandise

• Assist with capturing fan content for social media at home games and at off-site promotional, community, and sponsor events

• Edit, organize, and upload all content in accordance with established guidelines

• Utilize graphic asset library to create but not limited to lineup graphics, final score graphics, player spotlight, and etc.

• Take part in content meetings to assist in organization development

• Assist in other marketing projects and campaigns throughout the season including but not limited to sponsorship posts and creative updates

• Stay up-to-date with trends on existing and emerging platforms

Qualifications:

• Baseball knowledge is required

• Fluency in Adobe Suite(proficiency in photo editing and fundamental design tasks in photoshop)

• Creative, energetic, and proactive approach to work

• Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends

• High level of demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and decorum

• Working towards or have already obtained a bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Experience in social media, sports or entertainment

• Game day duties required

Time Period:

We are currently looking to fill this role as immediately with the individual working remotely till the start of the season.The season runs from May 29th through July 21st, with games played 5 days a week. All interns will start on May 12th, or as soon as possible (start time is somewhat flexible) and the internship ends shortly after the conclusion of the season.
