About the Company

The Palm Springs POWER Baseball Club recruits elite collegiate players from around the country to come to Palm Springs and play baseball in the months of June and July. The POWER organization strives to provide affordable entertainment as well as quality baseball for the residents of the Coachella Valley.

Job Description: Job Title: Social Media / Graphics Intern Role Summary: Produce engaging social media content and graphics across major platforms, support in‑game and promotional events, and assist with marketing campaigns throughout the baseball season. Expectations: • Produce high‑quality posts and graphics aligned with brand guidelines. • Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and game days. • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and decorum in all interactions. • Demonstrate creativity, energy, and proactive teamwork. Key Responsibilities: - Create and schedule social media posts on all major platforms. - Collaborate with staff to identify key stories, athletes, and moments to feature. - Develop in‑game content and graphics (lineup, final score, player spotlights, etc.) using Adobe Photoshop. - Capture and edit fan and event content for posts. - Upload, organize, and manage content within the established asset library. - Participate in content strategy meetings and contribute to organizational development. - Assist with marketing projects and campaigns, including sponsorship posts and creative updates. - Stay current with trends on existing and emerging social media platforms. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and basic design tasks. - Experience with social media management and content creation. - Knowledge of baseball operations and terminology. - Strong creativity, energy, and proactive work ethic. - Flexible schedule, willingness to work extended hours and game days. - High level of professionalism, integrity, and decorum. Required Education & Certifications: - Pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Sports Management, or a related field.
