Integration Engineer (Automation) Grantham / WFH to £75k

Are you a technologist with experience of customer engagement automation platforms?

You could be stepping into a hands-on technical leadership role with a well-established, consumer facing financial services company undergoing a major technology transformation following recent investment and growth.

As an Integration Engineer, you'll work at the centre of a newly formed customer engagement team, collaborating closely with marketing and specialists across voice (including AI voice and telephony), chatbots and digital messaging, marketing and service automation, campaign execution and analytics.

You'll act as the team's technical authority, ensuring systems are robust, scalable and well governed. A key focus will be establishing strong engineering discipline and change safety across customer engagement platforms, putting the right controls, standards and processes in place as the organisation scales.

Working in partnership with the Head of Continuous Improvement & RPA, you'll also help define the boundary between engineering-led automation and RPA-driven optimisation, ensuring the right approach is used to deliver efficiency, resilience, and customer value.

This role offers the chance to shape modern customer engagement capabilities while driving best practices and building a platform for future innovation.

Location / WFH:

You'll the team in Grantham three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.

About you:

You have experience as an Integration Engineer, Automation Engineer or similar position
You have hands-on experience with working on customer engagement or automation platforms, such as: Intercom, Zendesk, Braze, Twilio, Vonage, HubSpot, Salesforce or similar
You have a good knowledge of APIs and Webhooks, configuration-driven systems, versioning and change management
You can script (or code) with JavaScript, TypeScript or Python
You have experience of testing and validating automation logic and deployment safety in SaaS environments
You have experience of working in regulated / compliance based environments
You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
