Job Description
Amaris Consulting is looking for a .NET Technical Lead to join our team in Brussels under a permanent contract and take ownership of key software development projects. You’ll play a pivotal role in leading development teams, shaping technical solutions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable applications for our clients.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and delivery of .NET based solutions.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and best practices to ensure code quality and team performance.
Oversee and participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps.
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Identify opportunities for technical improvements, scalability, and performance optimization.
Lead DevOps initiatives on the project, with key responsibilities around cloud infrastructure management (e.g., Azure) and automation using Terraform.
Ensure adherence to DevOps and Agile practices across development cycles.
Your Profile:
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
You have 7+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in a leadership role or coaching role.
Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, and related frameworks (ASP.NET, Blazor).
Solid knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and development of RESTful APIs.
Proven experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker, and familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps or similar).
Comfortable working in Agile environments, with experience leading technical ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
Excellent communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English and French (spoken and written); knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
Willing and available to work on-site in Brussels.
