Job title: Data Scientist (AI Focus) – V.I.E (F/M/X)
Role Summary: Design, develop, and operationalise AI/ML models to solve business challenges, integrating solutions into clients’ digital transformation strategies across cloud platforms, while ensuring ethical, scalable, and high‑performance deployments.
Expactations: Deliver end‑to‑end AI solutions (model design, deployment, monitoring), collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, maintain model quality and compliance with fairness and ethical standards, document processes and outcomes, and contribute to continuous learning and best‑practice sharing.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimise ML models using Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit‑learn.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis on large datasets.
- Deploy models at scale on Azure, AWS, or GCP, utilizing MLOps pipelines, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.
- Apply and expand LLM, NLP, and generative‑AI capabilities in client projects.
- Work with business users to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and embed AI into core processes.
- Ensure models meet performance, scalability, fairness, and ethical benchmarks.
- Document experimental findings, retrospectives, and standard operating procedures for team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn).
- Experience with cloud environments: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Hands‑on with LLMs, NLP techniques, and generative‑AI tools.
- Familiarity with MLOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in English; French fluency desired.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset suitable for fast‑paced environments.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP AI) or MLOps practices are advantageous.
