About you and the role
Assisting the US Finance department. This is a Finance internship program with a thirteen-month duration (June 1, 2026 – June 25, 2027).
What you will be doing:
Key Accountabilities
Accounting / Reporting
During their time within the US Finance team, the finance intern will work closely with members of relevant accounting and reporting teams to perform both standalone and consolidation (re)insurance portfolio/company accounting activities, as well as ad-hoc finance projects where applicable. They will also have an opportunity to collaborate with other functional teams across Finance, such as Treasury and Actuarial Reserving, to ensure the completeness and accuracy of underlying business results and to understand trends and behaviors that impact those results.
Support change management and transformation project initiatives.
Assist with Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual GAAP and Statutory accounting and reporting (internal and external) deliverables associated with various reinsurance portfolios.
Assist in analyzing and resolving inquiries from internal and external counterparties where applicable.
Assist with claims funding requests from Third Party Claims Administrators and actively monitor funding requirements per the underlying contracts.
Support the annual audit process toward the successful completion of the audit.
Help prepare quarterly Board and Committee presentations for various Enstar regional subsidiaries, as applicable.
Work with the finance projects technical team in support of workflow improvement initiatives.
What you will bring:
Undergraduate major in finance, accounting or economics.
Completed junior year of college by the internship start date.
Previous internship experience.
Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Microsoft Power BI( preferred)
Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to analyze financial data.
Organized and detail-oriented.
