Role Overview

MAJIQ is seeking a ‘Strategic Account Executive’ responsible for identifying and driving revenue growth within MAJIQ’s existing customer base and acquiring new named accounts in North America. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on prospecting and navigating complex enterprise sales cycles.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role reporting directly to the GM, with a competitive base salary, commission on sales, and rewards for high-value activity. Key Responsibilities

Drive expansion revenue (new sites, modules, enhancements) and retention of existing customers and prospects into new pulp and paper manufacturers across North America
Build relationships with CIOs, COOs, Procurement, and IT leaders, positioning MAJIQ’s value at both strategic and technical levels
Own the full sales cycle for new opportunities – including prospecting, needs analysis, high-level demos, proposal development, RFP responses, and contract negotiation.
Travel to customer sites, mills, and corporate offices across North America and Asia Pacific (up to 50% travel)
Position MAJIQ’s long-term ROI vs. low-cost alternatives, with emphasis on multi-year support contracts and recurring value.
Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Marketing for tailored messaging, smooth handoffs, and coordinated delivery.
Conduct Joint Business Reviews and maintain regular engagement with decision-makers.
Maintain accurate records and forecasting in CRM

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales
Hunter mentality with proven prospecting ability
Proven success in closing multi-million dollar, multi-year enterprise deals with existing or new customers
Strong relationship manager and communicator able to build trust and credibility at the executive level
Experience navigating RFPs, vendor risk assessments, and procurement cycles tied to capex or multi-year projects
Comfortable working in a flat, entrepreneurial environment with direct access to executive leadership
Looking for a long-term role in a stable, mission-driven company with strong customer and employee retention

Software & Industry Aptitude

Willingness and ability to learn MAJIQ's software and demo it at a high level
Experience or familiarity with ERP, MES, or supply chain software is preferred but not required

Compensation

This role offers a competitive base salary and a hybrid incentive model with commission for new sales, as well as incentives for retention and the development of existing business.
