Job Description
**Strategic Account Executive** **Role Summary** Strategic Account Executive drives revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new enterprise customers across North America, focusing on industrial software solutions for the pulp and paper sector. **Expectations** Proven enterprise sales success in complex, high-value B2B cycles with emphasis on long-term contract negotiation and account retention. Requires autonomous execution with minimal management oversight. **Key Responsibilities** - Execute full sales cycle (prospecting, demos, proposals, RFP responses, contract negotiation) to secure multi-million-dollar, multi-year accounts. - Expand revenue via upselling/enhancements and retain/retain clients through strategic engagement. - Develop and maintain relationships with C-suite/executive-level stakeholders (CIOs, COOs, Procurement) to articulate technical and strategic value. - Travel up to 50% in North America and Asia Pacific to conduct site visits, demos, and collaborative reviews. - Collaborate with engineering, professional services, marketing, and customer success teams to align delivery and messaging. - Maintain detailed CRM records for forecasting and reporting. **Required Skills** - 5+ years enterprise software sales experience, with demonstrated success in closing large-scale, strategic enterprise accounts. - Strong prospecting, RFP navigation, and negotiation skills for capex or multi-year projects. - Ability to communicate effectively at both technical and executive levels to position long-term ROI. - Experience in ERP/MES solutions, supply chain software, or industrial manufacturing sectors preferred. - Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with direct executive access. **Required Education & Certifications** High school diploma or equivalent; relevant industry certifications or bachelor’s degree in business/technical fields a plus (not required).
