Job Specifications

Senior Product Designer (UX Focus)

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000

Location: Hybrid – London (Canary Wharf). Initially 3 days onsite, with flexibility for more remote working over time.

I’m working with a B2B SaaS scale-up that’s building an AI-enabled product focused on solving complex, high-value workflows for enterprise users. They’re looking to hire a Senior Product Designer with a strong UX focus to join a small, close-knit product team.

This role sits at the intersection of product, UX, and engineering, with a strong emphasis on systems thinking, workflow design, and problem solving rather than purely visual design.

The Role

This is a product-embedded design role with a clear UX focus. You’ll be working on a complex, data-heavy SaaS platform where clarity, structure, and usability are critical.

The product is used by contract managers and operates across several modules, including contract review, risk identification, goal setting, obligation management, multi-party collaboration, and continuous improvement. The platform is AI-enabled at its core, with a strong focus on saving time and reducing costly operational inefficiencies.

You’ll work closely with engineers and a UI-focused designer, owning UX thinking, workflow mapping, and early-stage design exploration.

What They’re Looking For

Strong UX background with experience designing complex workflows and systems
Confident in systems thinking, journey mapping, and breaking down ambiguous problems
Comfortable collaborating closely with engineers and product stakeholders
Able to clearly talk through design thinking and decision-making, not just outcomes
Solid UX fundamentals; strong visuals are a bonus but not the core requirement
Experience working in start-up or scale-up environments, or smaller product teams
Curious, driven, and adaptable, comfortable with shifting priorities

Portfolios are a key part of the process. The team is keen to see:

Evidence of complex problem-solving (not simple consumer apps like grocery shopping or music subscriptions)
Clear thinking, clean structure, and well-explained workflows
Personality and curiosity reflected in how work is presented
