A large organization in the financial and corporate services sector is seeking a Senior Analyst

to support key corporate functions. This role offers exposure to senior leadership, month-end ownership, and cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills and experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

About The Role

Reporting into a Senior Finance Leader, this position serves as the finance lead for multiple internal service groups. The role is responsible for month-end close, variance analysis, KPI reporting, budgeting support, forecasting, and intercompany processes, ensuring accurate, timely insights for operational and leadership teams.

What You’ll Do

Act as a primary finance partner for internal corporate service teams.
Lead and execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and cost centre reporting.
Prepare monthly variance analysis and commentary comparing actuals to budget and forecast.
Present financial results and insights to internal business groups.
Support monthly forecasting and the annual budgeting cycle for both operating and capital planning.
Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs, highlighting trends and month-over-month changes.
Support the biannual cost-allocation model process.
Prepare intercompany billings and complete month-end intercompany journal entries.
Respond to senior management requests and support ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.

What You Bring

3-4 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A.
Strong financial systems capabilities, including advanced Excel skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly.
Highly organized, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-driven, proactive work style with a strong sense of ownership.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an asset.
