HR Administrator, Global Banking Organisation

London, Hybrid role

12 month contract, £250 - £300 per day inside IR35

Global Banking Organisation looking to hire an experienced HR Administrator to join their HR Department and play a key role in supporting employees and stakeholders across the organisation. This is a hands-on role where you will take accountability for resolving complex HR queries, ensuring compliance, and championing process excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Resolve Tier 2 escalated HR queries from employees and managers, keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
Coach managers and employees to use self-service tools and Workday processes effectively.
Guide Tier 1 colleagues in providing entry-level policy advice, escalating to senior HR when appropriate.
Partner with colleagues across functions to deliver a client-centric approach and build collaborative networks.
Create, assign, and resolve HR cases in line with standard operating procedures, policies, and service level agreements.
Audit Tier 1 case work to ensure adherence to processes and maintain high data quality.
Support pre-employment processes including new hire documentation, contracts, offer packs, and right-to-work checks.
Advise on HR process adherence, data entry, payroll instructions, and employee correspondence.
Monitor and champion data integrity, ensuring HR systems are fully utilised.
Implement and advise on internal controls to reduce errors and mitigate risks.
Manage document processes within HR Central Services, ensuring accurate employee records.

Experience & Skills Required:

Experience working in an HR Operations or Shared Services environment.
Broad HR knowledge, including employment legislation and HR best practices.
Experience in process mapping and transactional employee relations.
Ability to prioritise tasks, deliver results, and ensure high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR systems, preferably Workday.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage large workloads, meet tight deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.
Strong literacy, numeracy, and Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional HR or business certification (e.g., CIPD Level 5 or equivalent).
Experience with Case Management systems.
Continuous professional education or a Masters in HR is desirable.
