Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) Administrator / File Transfer Developer to design, develop, administer, and support secure, scalable, and highly available file transfer solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise with IBM Sterling B2Bi and related components, supporting mission-critical enterprise integrations and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Configuration
Design, develop, and implement file transfer workflows using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, File Gateway, and Secure Proxy (SSP).
Configure adapters such as FTP, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, AS2, MQ, and trading partner profiles.
Develop and maintain custom business processes, maps, and services for data transformation and routing.
Administration & Maintenance
Manage Sterling environments including installation, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
Monitor system health, capacity, and availability to ensure SLA compliance.
Perform user access, security administration, certificate management, and encryption key handling.
Operational Support
Provide L2/L3 production support for file transfer incidents and service requests.
Analyze logs, troubleshoot connectivity and integration issues, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Implement automation for monitoring, alerting, and reporting using scripts or tools.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure adherence to security standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for configurations, integrations, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, File Gateway, Secure Proxy, and Control Center.
In-depth knowledge of file transfer protocols: FTP, SFTP, AS2, HTTPS.
Experience with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
Working knowledge of databases such as DB2 and Oracle used with Sterling.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, SSL/TLS, certificates, and encryption.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and optimize performance.
Preferred Skills
Experience managing high-availability and clustered Sterling environments.
Knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes for containerized Sterling deployments.
Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell) and monitoring solutions.
Familiarity with cloud-based file transfer and integration platforms.
