Description for the Infrastructure Manager role:- This is a fantastic opportunity with a technology division of a global company. The role will involve managing a Systems Administration and Infrastructure team (c8 people) in a fast-paced technology environment and requires a good understanding of Linux administration, Network configuration/Toubleshooting, Kubernetes, datacentre environments etc. Ideally you should possess knowledge of virtualisation technologies, Datacentre infrastructure and Puppet/Ansible.

This will mainly be a management/Strategy role, with a small percentage of hands on when required

The role can be remote with the proviso that you can visit the offices in Newcastle upon Tyne for important meetings on a monthly basis

Experience required for the Infrastructure Engineer roles:-

5yrs+ commercial experience in an infrastructure role
Team leading/Management experience
Linux administration skills
Solid networking/Security understanding/experience
Stakeholder management and Managing budgets/procurement

Salary for the Infrastructure Manager role will be negotiable dependent on experience but expect £75,000 to £90,000 basic + benefits package depending on experience.
