Client Acquisition Lead – Experiences (Travel Experiences)

Location: London Hybrid
Salary: £90k - £110k pa
Contract: 12 months

This is a senior, city-owning role responsible for shaping and growing a high-quality Experiences marketplace in London.

You will be accountable for what gets onboarded, who gets on the platform, and how the city performs. From identifying culturally relevant opportunities to pitching, launching and scaling experiences, you will set the pace, quality bar and direction for your market.

This is not a desk-based leadership role. You will operate as a player–coach, moving comfortably between hands-on acquisition work and strategic city-level ownership.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Own the city: Represent London in cross-functional and leadership forums, clearly articulating wins, risks, blockers and opportunities
Set standards: Define the quality bar, acquisition pace and operating rhythm for the city’s Experiences pipeline
Source & spot trends: Identify culturally relevant, in-demand and off-the-beaten-path experiences that reflect what’s happening in London now
Acquire & launch: Pitch a compelling value proposition to creators, experts, businesses and brands; co-create experiences and move them through the full acquisition funnel
Optimise & retain: Work closely with hosts during their first 6–12 months, ensuring experiences are commercially viable, high quality and sustainable
Lead people: Manage and develop a small acquisition team, driving KPIs and setting clear expectations for performance
Partner cross-functionally: Work effectively with legal, operations, design and leadership teams to unblock progress and move fast
Track & report: Maintain excellent data hygiene, surface performance trends early and drive continuous improvement

You’re likely someone who:

Has 15+ years’ experience in partnerships, acquisition, sales or marketplace growth roles
Has deep, current knowledge of London’s travel, hospitality, food & beverage, arts, entertainment or cultural landscape
Has strong taste and judgement, with a proven ability to spot quality and relevance ahead of the curve
Can operate credibly with senior stakeholders while staying close to execution
Thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly as strategies evolve
Has experience leading small teams and driving performance through others
Is fluent in CRM and tracking tools (e.g. Salesforce, Airtable or similar)
Takes full ownership of results and is comfortable being measured against clear KPIs
