Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic initiatives on the Salesforce platform, focusing on Service Cloud, Omnichannel, and integrations with NetSuite and related systems. The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce delivery experience with strong project management expertise, ensuring seamless coordination between technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendor partners. Familiarity with ERP integrations (NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics NAV) and Salesforce technical concepts (Platform Events, APIs, CI/CD) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce projects across Service Cloud, Omnichannel, and integration streams.
Develop detailed project plans, manage resources, mitigate risks, and establish communication frameworks to ensure on-time and within-scope delivery.
Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and quality using Agile or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
Facilitate sprint ceremonies including planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives in partnership with Product Owners and technical leads.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Salesforce teams (Admins, Developers, Architects), and external partners.
Translate complex technical concepts (APIs, data flows, integration patterns) into business-aligned communication for stakeholders.
Drive alignment across cross-functional teams—Salesforce, ERP, DevOps, and Support—to deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions.

Technical Program Coordination

Collaborate with the Salesforce Technical Architect to align implementation roadmaps, design decisions, and release strategies.
Coordinate data migration, environment management, and deployment schedules across sandboxes and production.
Support integration initiatives with NetSuite (customers, orders, invoices, etc.) ensuring effective collaboration with ERP teams.
Oversee testing strategy, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-release validation.

Governance & Quality

Enforce delivery standards, documentation practices, and release governance.
Maintain project documentation including RAID logs, sprint reports, and executive summaries.
Monitor delivery KPIs—velocity, defect rate, stakeholder satisfaction—and drive continuous improvement.

Risk & Issue Management

Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers across multiple workstreams.
Escalate issues with transparency and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years managing Salesforce projects (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or similar).
Proven experience leading multi-system integration projects, ideally involving Salesforce and NetSuite (or other ERPs).
Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities (Service Cloud, Omni-Channel, Flows, APIs, AppExchange).
Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical and non-technical teams in complex stakeholder environments.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira or equivalent.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, or PMP/Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
Familiarity with NetSuite SuiteTalk/SuiteScript or middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.).
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Experience managing or collaborating with Salesforce Architects, Developers, and Admins.
Exposure to data migration, change management, and enterprise-level release governance.

Success Metrics

On-time and on-budget project delivery.
High stakeholder satisfaction and adoption rates.
Improved Salesforce system performance, data accuracy, and integration reliability.
Effective risk and issue resolution with minimal production incidents.
Strong alignment between delivered functionality and business objectives.
