Job Specifications
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow processes, enhancements, and custom applications.
Build and maintain Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and Workflows to support business operations.
Develop high-quality server-side components including Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Fix Scripts, and API integrations.
Implement and optimize client-side scripting such as Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and GlideAjax.
Develop high-performance web applications with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and user experience.
Collaborate with the QA team to test developed features, triage issues, and ensure defect-free releases.
Lead assigned projects from development through deployment, ensuring timely delivery of radar items and milestones.
Identify and communicate risks, blockers, and technical concerns to leadership.
Prepare and deliver deployment instructions for release management teams.
Create clear, thorough, and maintainable technical documentation in code and internal project management tools.
(Optional) Work on and support the HR Service Delivery (HRSD) module, if required.
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
Strong proficiency in:
Server-side scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, GlideRecord, etc.)
Client-side scripting (Client Scripts, UI Actions, GlideAjax, etc.)
Experience building Service Catalog, Record Producers, and Flow Designer/Workflow solutions.
Ability to write performant, optimized, and maintainable ServiceNow applications.
Experience testing and validating ServiceNow code.
Strong understanding of platform architecture, data schema, and best practices.
Ability to lead technical initiatives and deliver within project deadlines.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the HRSD (HR Service Delivery) module.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs).
Knowledge of platform security (ACLs, roles, data policies).
ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS (any module).
