hackajob is collaborating with Barclays to connect them with exceptional tech professionals for this role.

Barclays is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Digital B2B APIs team. This team builds and maintains core API services that enable seamless integrations with partners and business clients across the Barclays ecosystem. These APIs are essential to delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing digital experiences.

To be successful as a Software Engineer, you should have:

Previous programming experience in Java (minimum Java 8).
Experience with Spring Boot (minimum version 2) for developing microservices.
Good understanding of JUnit testing (minimum JUnit 4), including mocking frameworks and writing high-coverage automated test.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role is located at our Knutsford office.

Upto £60k£65k per annum
