KPMG UK is seeking a dynamic and driven M&A Manager to join our Corporate Finance team, specialising in the Energy sector. As the leading mid-market M&A adviser in the UK, Europe, and globally, we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-impact deal advisory services.

What You’ll Do

Lead and manage M&A transactions from origin to completion.
Act as the day-to-day client contact, building trusted relationships.
Deliver high-quality marketing materials, pitches, and proposals.
Supervise and mentor junior team members.
Support business development and contribute to winning new mandates.
Ensure project budgets, billing, and reporting are effectively managed.

What We’re Looking For

Proven corporate finance experience in investment banking, Big 4, mid-tier firms, or private equity.
Strong track record in sell-side transactions and deal execution.
Experience with private equity and mid-market deals is a plus.
Previous energy deal experience
Advanced financial modelling (DCF, LBO), valuation, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management.
A collaborative team player with a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

Strong academic background.
Professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) are advantageous.
