Your mission

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will work as part of a collaborative team to implement features and solve technical challenges as directed by more experienced engineers or tech leads. Your primary focus will be on understanding and delivering high-quality code based on clear requirements. Junior engineers are expected to grow their technical skills and industry knowledge while contributing to engineering efforts.

What You’ll Be Doing

Implement features and functionality as defined by requirements.
Write clean and maintainable code following team-established coding standards.
Participate in code reviews to continuously improve your code and learn from peers.
Debug and resolve straightforward bugs under the guidance of a more experienced engineer.
Assist in testing efforts (unit, integration, and functional testing).
Ask questions and seek support actively to improve your understanding of the system.
Contribute to documentation related to features or changes.

What You’ll Bring

Years of Experience: Typically 0–2 years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in programming languages aligned with our tech stack (e.g., C#, TypeScript / Angular, …).
Basic understanding of core software development principles such as object-oriented programming, SOLID, data structures, dependency injection, …
Familiarity with REST APIs, databases (e.g., PostgreSQL or MongoDB), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies (such as RabbitMQ, CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture, etc.).
Willingness and ability to write code without relying on AI assistance.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and leverage feedback to improve.
Basic interest in or understanding of cybersecurity concepts and the bug bounty industry.
