Job Specifications

Data Analyst - Power BI - DAX - SQL

Location: New Orleans

Contract: 6 months

Rate: $50 - $65 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI to present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to enhance Power BI reports and analytical capabilities.
Assist in data modeling and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Provide training to team members on data visualization tools and techniques.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
5-6 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.
Advanced knowledge of Power BI and DAX.
Familiarity with Python for data analysis is a plus.
Experience with cloud services (Azure) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
