We are currently recruiting for a fully skilled CNC Programmer/Setter to join our client based in Swindon.

The Person

Will be flexible and courteous with a friendly and positive approach. Will be able to produce accurate, high quality components with maximum efficiency and accurately plan the production method & create programmes when advised by Supervisor to customer specifications using available facilities, whilst maintaining discretion, confidentiality and professionalism at all times

You Will Have

Experience of CAD / CAM programming
The ability to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
The ability to interpret engineering drawings
The confidence & ability to work under your own initiative
FANUC and G&M Code experience
The experience of working to fine tolerances with all materials

Your Responsibilities

Ensuring that the machine processes are running at optimum efficiency with correct speeds and feeds
Competently setting and operating CNC milling machines using operating systems for each machine
Undertaking any off set or minor changes to programmes to produce quality components to drawing limits/customer specifications
Planning and specifying tooling requirements for production, including any jigs & fixtures or special cutting tools
Inspecting, including first-off inspections of others work using CMM equipment
Working to tight tolerances and checking your own work during production batch runs
Supporting and advising other employees when required in ensuring all operations are carried out efficiently and accurately to customer requirements, drawing tolerance and specifications
