Senior Full Stack Engineer | Up to $150k CAD (+ Bonus) | Calgary, Canada | Permanent

Job Type: Permanent

Our client, a Commodity Trading firm, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join them as part of a newly formed Digital Transformation Team. This is a hands-on role within our Business Process Digitalisation group, where you'll help redesign, automate, and scale business processes across the enterprise.

What You'll Do:

Identify and assess opportunities for digital process improvement across various business units
Design end-to-end automation solutions and contribute to product architecture
Collaborate closely with AI and systems integration teams
Translate business needs into user journeys, wireframes, and working prototypes
Work hands-on with modern technologies like AWS, React, Spring Boot, Node.js, Python
Help shape a new department with visibility and input into strategic direction

Skills:

Experience in digital transformation, solution design, or process automation
Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and microservices
Knowledge of modern development frameworks: React, Node.js, Java Spring Boot, Python, etc.
Strong communication skills and a comfort level working across technical and business teams
Experience delivering products from concept through to deployment
Calgary-based or willing to relocate
