The Senior Security Analyst & CyberArk Administrator, a part of the Digital Security Group, is primarily responsible for administration and maintenance of the CyberArk platform and the privileged access process. The Analyst will perform Information Security related tasks as well.
The role requires an in-depth understanding of the CyberArk suite of applications, Information Security practices as well as a good understanding of privileged access review processes. The candidate must have a proactive and collaborative approach, bringing solutions to the table, exhibit flexibility and dedication. Candidate needs to have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with technical and non-technical individuals across functions and levels.
What You Will Do
The Senior Security Analyst will be responsible for administrating, maintaining, monitoring, and upgrading of the KPMG CyberArk infrastructure, and helping to improve the implementation of those systems. A flexible and solution-oriented mindset is required to facilitate business requirements and adequately protect the Firm.
Daily maintenance of the CyberArk infrastructure, upgrades, deployment, and integration of new modules/products/features
Operational product deployment, implementation, and technical issue resolution
Engage with business contacts and IT to identify sensitive accounts which require onboarding, monitoring, and alerting
Implementation of automated processes such as local password rotation and service account management
Develop standard operating procedures, frameworks, and document processes
Perform quarterly privileged access reviews
Interpret and summarize technical information for presentation to non-technical business contacts
Develop and improve processes and procedures for credential protection
Generate monthly/quarterly reports and create dashboards for leadership
Perform assessments of current security technology and authentication systems, evaluate against KPMG Security Policies, and other relevant regulations/best practice controls pertaining to the protection of corporate information assets with respect to security and privacy
Advance IT Security policies, standards, and procedures in conjunction with the application and technology teams responsible for the day-to-day systems configuration and operation
Onboarding and offboarding of users, accounts, and keys
Assess and review new and existing technology infrastructure to identify key risk areas, and ensure adequate levels of controls are in place to address those risks, develop risk mitigation techniques/plans and processes to ensure that all reviews are actionable by system managers and the operations staff
Work closely with ITS, Business and Global teams to gather requirements and enhance security
Assist with operational tickets, incident response, project activities and ad-hoc requests
Position may require on-call and after-hours work, as needed to support KPMG business needs
What You Bring To The Role
Associate's degree or higher in a related field
3+ years in systems security with certification, maintenance and use of security products in a distributed enterprise environment.
2+ years' strong working experience with CyberArk core applications
Experience and detailed knowledge in the following areas
PAM, PIM, AIM
Privileged Session Manager
DNA
CPM, PVWA,
Vault Administration
Disaster Recovery
Experience in Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience in PowerShell scripting
Experience with network applications, such as Firewall Security and Virtual Private Networking.
Knowledge of Azure and AWS
Understanding of frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and/or CIS
Proactive, enthusiastic, and ambitious with the ability to solve problems in a complex and fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders nationally in our English speaking provinces while at KPMG.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $73,000 to $109,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
