Operations Manager
Role Summary
Drive end‑to‑end operational excellence in a high‑growth CPG e‑commerce environment. Own forecasting, inventory, warehouse, fulfillment, supply chain, and customer service workflows to deliver scalable efficiency and superior customer experience.
Expectations
* Lead continuous improvement of SOPs and operational processes.
* Deliver accurate demand forecasts aligning with marketing, product launches, and growth targets.
* Maintain inventory accuracy >99% and achieve 95% on‑time fulfillment SLA.
* Scale operations to support rapid product and channel expansion.
* Build and mentor a small team of warehouse/fulfillment staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Forecast & Plan: develop demand forecasts, inventory plans, and identify supply risks.
* Inventory Management: oversee purchasing, reconciliation, safety stock, and turnover strategy.
* Warehouse & Fulfillment: manage 3PL and in‑house teams, oversee receiving, storage, pick/pack, QC, and training.
* Supply Chain Management: coordinate suppliers, manufacturers, packaging vendors, and logistics partners.
* Systems & Tools: operate Shopify back‑end, inventory systems, and integrate with 3PL, shipping, CRM, and CS platforms.
* Customer Service Operations: oversee CS processes, returns, exchanges, and after‑sales support.
* Operational Excellence: develop SOPs, analyze metrics, implement efficiencies, and reduce costs.
Required Skills
* 3–6+ years operations in e‑commerce/CPG/start‑up.
* Strong hands‑on knowledge of Shopify, warehouse systems, fulfillment, inventory software, and 3PL management.
* Data‑driven forecasting and analytical decision making.
* Leadership of small teams or warehouse staff; strong communication & project management.
* Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
