**Job Title:** Director of Sales & Marketing – Hotels
**Role Summary:**
Senior commercial leader charged with driving revenue across rooms, meetings & events, and food & beverage for a large conference‑focused hotel. Owns the sales strategy, leads a high‑performance team, and ensures brand standards are met while securing corporate, MICE, group, and leisure business.
**Expactations:**
- Exceed revenue, RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy targets.
- Maintain a robust, conversion‑focused sales pipeline.
- Build and nurture global distribution and corporate partnerships.
- Report directly to the General Manager on commercial performance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute the full Sales & Marketing strategy.
- Lead corporate and consortium RFP activity; negotiate contracts.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate, MICE, leisure, and local accounts.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, and FAM trips.
- Create and launch marketing campaigns, drive brand awareness, and manage distribution partnerships.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market benchmarking.
- Lead, inspire, and develop the Sales & Marketing team; set and monitor KPIs.
- Collaborate with Operations, Revenue, and other departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven track record in driving significant MICE and group revenue at a large, conference‑led hotel (500+ rooms preferred).
- Strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and negotiation expertise.
- Strong team leadership, development, and KPI management.
- Proficiency in structured sales systems, CRM platforms, and revenue management tools.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder‑management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant hospitality or sales certifications (e.g., Certified Hospitality Sales Professional, HSMI).
