Job title: Business Development Executive, Event Sales Role Summary: Drive revenue growth for a prestigious events venue by identifying, securing, and managing new business opportunities. Build and nurture high‑profile client relationships while collaborating closely with the Key Account Manager and internal teams to deliver tailored event solutions. Expectations: Deliver on ambitious sales targets and consistently meet or exceed revenue goals. Operate with strong professionalism, detail orientation, and a passion for creating memorable event experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Prospect and cultivate new client accounts in the hospitality and events sector. - Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities. - Prepare and deliver compelling event proposals and presentations to prospects and stakeholders. - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve favorable outcomes for the venue. - Maintain ongoing relationships with key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business. - Collaborate with venue operations, marketing, and event teams to align client expectations with service capabilities. - Track sales metrics, submit performance reports, and provide insights for strategic planning. - Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the venue and expand the sales pipeline. Required Skills: - Proven track record in event sales and business development. - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. - Detail‑oriented and analytical mindset for data‑driven decision making. - Team‑player with a proactive and tenacious approach. - In‑depth knowledge of hospitality/events industry trends, competitors, and best practices. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred). - Sales-related certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) are advantageous.
