**Job Title:** Applications Support Analyst – 3rd Line
**Role Summary:**
Provide expert 3rd‑line support for core business applications (CASH, TimeGate, Business Central, SQL Server) and associated databases. Lead root‑cause analysis, data migrations, and integration projects while driving automation and innovative solutions using APIs, Python, and AI. Maintain SLA compliance through ServiceNow and contribute to release, deployment, and out‑of‑hours support rotations.
**Expactations:**
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT support, with strong focus on database administration.
- Consistently meet or exceed agreed SLA targets.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver technical recommendations.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Participate in on‑site work (≈1 day/week) and occasional travel for project requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver 3rd‑line support for CASH, TimeGate, Business Central (Finance/Payroll/CRM) and related SQL Server environments.
- Perform root‑cause analysis on complex incidents; propose long‑term fixes.
- Manage incidents and workload in ServiceNow, ensuring SLA adherence.
- Lead data consolidation, migration, and integration (e.g., Advantage DB to ERP BC14).
- Design, develop, and maintain SSIS/SSAS/SSRS packages, stored procedures, and T‑SQL scripts.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for migrations, support processes, and integration workflows.
- Apply modern technologies (AI, automation, APIs, Python) to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Support release and deployment management, including packaging, change requests, and environment updates.
- Participate in service introductions and out‑of‑hours support rotation.
**Required Skills:**
- Expert‑level T‑SQL and SQL Server administration (all versions).
- Strong experience with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and database performance tuning (DMVs, execution plans).
- Proficiency in writing/debugging stored procedures and using Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of Advantage DB; Oracle Cloud experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with API development, Python scripting, and automation/AI tools.
- Solid understanding of application performance monitoring and release management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Relevant IT or Computer Science qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent professional experience.
- ITIL Service Management qualification preferred.
- Additional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, SQL Server certifications) are advantageous.
