Job Description
**Job Title**: Account Manager **Role Summary** Drive revenue growth and sustain customer success across a portfolio of accounts for a fully remote technical solutions organization. Responsible for account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and cross‑functional coordination to align customer needs with product offerings. **Expectations** - Deliver continuous revenue growth and meet or exceed quarterly sales targets. - Maintain a robust, forecast‑ready pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts to leadership. - Build and nurture strategic relationships across multiple stakeholder levels within each account. - Collaborate with internal resources and partner companies to secure and expand customer engagements. - Operate within a commission‑based compensation structure and meet performance metrics. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and sustain positive, strategic relationships with key decision‑makers in assigned accounts. - Identify and articulate customer needs; create account plans that align with available solutions. - Resolve client inquiries, conflicts, and issues promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. - Manage and update the CRM (e.g., Salesforce) with accurate, timely account and pipeline data. - Forecast sales performance with high confidence and communicate results to senior leadership. - Coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver successful customer outcomes and revenue growth. - Stay abreast of industry, market, and competitive trends impacting target accounts. - Attend trade shows and conferences as required to support account expansion. - Provide actionable feedback on products, services, and internal processes based on client interactions. - Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and maintain a secure work environment. **Required Skills** - Minimum 5 years in direct technical sales, account management, or project management. - Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). - Comfortable working in a commission‑based compensation model. - Experience managing a sales pipeline and operating remotely. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. - Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills. - Background check clearance for cybersecurity access. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred; not mandatory). - No specific certifications required, though experience with industry‑specific knowledge (e.g., power generation, pulp/paper, chemicals, water/wastewater, oil & gas, metals/mining) is advantageous. **Other Qualifications** - Must reside in the United States (no visa sponsorship). - Physical ability to sit, stand, type, and use a computer for extended periods. ---
