Job Description: Job Title: Senior Data Scientist Role Summary: Lead development of advanced analytics and GenAI solutions for complex, high‑value insurance data. Design, build, and ship production‑ready machine‑learning pipelines, LLM‑driven workflows, and predictive models that extract insights from unstructured documents and enriched claims data. Expectations: • 3–5 years of applied data science experience or PhD with industry exposure. • Proven startup experience and comfort in fast‑moving environments. • Strong command of Python and SQL. • Deep knowledge of NLP, LLMs, and unstructured data processing. • Solid foundation in statistics, machine‑learning theory, and large‑scale model deployment. Key Responsibilities: • Engineer LLM‑powered pipelines to extract actionable insights from complex documents. • Design and implement agentic workflows that reason across multiple data sources. • Build and refine predictive models on enriched claims and financial datasets. • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop robust, production-ready solutions. • Partner with product and client stakeholders to translate real‑world analytics use cases into technical deliverables. Required Skills: • Advanced Python programming, including libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face. • Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. • Hands‑on experience with large language models, transformer architectures, and NLP pipelines. • Expertise in statistical modeling, supervised/unsupervised learning, and validation techniques. • Familiarity with MLOps practices, model versioning, and deployment pipelines. • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Data Science, or related field; PhD preferred. • Relevant certifications in machine‑learning, data science, or AI (e.g., TensorFlow Developer Certificate) are a plus.
